[…] L’atelier (les tubes de couleurs)/ les nouvelles œuvres faites dans le Var [et à Fontainebleau]./ [...] f) 'Pégasse [sic]' cheval blanc ailé au bord d’une mare dans la/ forêt (à droite)/ les fougères brun rouge de gauche et celles du fond – le/ miroir de la mare – l’arbre de gauche et ses taches vertes/ admirable.
