An album with a brown cardboard cover and spiral binding, 17 sheets, 4 of which are loose and 2 are missing (small fragments attached to the spiral), consisting mainly of studies and some rapid outlines in pencil for The Merry-Go-Round [PS517], a study in pencil for the Angels' Concert (five figures) [PS512], charcoal sketches for the New Jerusalem (of which one includes handwritten notations in ink by the artist), of the man in front of the white horse in the Celestial Army [PS467], a pencil sketch of the head of the rider in the Vision [PS460], and pencil, ink and sanguine sketches of various subjects.

The front cover numbered 1 (not by the artist) and in the lower right corner inscribed Lavis/ aquarelle/ [...]
