Design for the cover of the 1927 first Dutch edition of Emanuel Swedenborg's work Hemelsche Verborgenheden, Arcana Cœlestia (Heavenly Mysteries or Secrets of Heaven) (fig. 1a and 1b). This drawing of a young girl was also used for the cover (fig. 2a) of the 1931 Dutch edition of De Canons en de Negen Vragen (Canons and Nine Questions) by the same author (fig. 2a and 2b).
