Notes

This drawing, a study for the weeping angel right back in the large painiting "The Manor of Dreams (The Manor of Dreams)", decorates the cover (fig. 1) of the first Dutch edition from 1927 of Emanuel Swedenborg's work Het Huwelijk, (De Conjugio) (On Marriage) (fig. 2), which was translated by Anton Zelling.
